Privacy Policy — Orobos Sequencer
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Orobos Sequencer is a music sequencer and synthesiser for Android, published by SIA Bolwarra (trading as Bolwarra Technologies), a company registered in Riga, Latvia. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your data.
1. What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting service, and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own. Everything you make stays on your phone. The only exception is buying Orobos Sequencer Pro, which is handled by Google Play — see section 6.
2. Microphone
The app can record from your phone's microphone so you can sample sounds directly into the Sample Bank. This happens only while you explicitly start a recording, and the app requests the microphone permission the first time you do.
Recordings are saved as ordinary audio files in the app's own private storage on your device. They are never uploaded, never transmitted, and never shared with anyone — including us. Deleting a recording in the app, or uninstalling the app, removes them from your device.
3. Audio files you import
When you add a folder or an audio file to the Sample Bank, the app stores a reference to it and reads it when you play it. Your audio files are not copied out of their original location, not modified, and not uploaded.
4. Projects, presets and settings
Your projects, presets and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
If you have Android's built-in backup enabled, the Android operating system may copy this data to your personal cloud backup and restore it when you set up a new phone. That is done by Android, under your own account and your own settings — not by the app, and we never have access to it. Microphone recordings are deliberately excluded from cloud backup. You can turn Android backup off in your device settings at any time.
5. Exports
When you export a track, the file is written to the app's temporary storage and handed to Android's share sheet only if you choose to share it. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice; the app does not send it anywhere on its own.
6. Purchases
Orobos Sequencer Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play Billing. The app never sees or stores your payment details. It asks Google Play a single question — whether this Google account owns the Pro product — and stores only a yes/no flag locally so the app knows to keep Pro unlocked while offline.
Google's handling of the transaction is governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms, not by this one. Google Play also collects information about app installs and purchases independently of the app; see Google's policies for details.
7. Network access
The app declares the internet and network-state permissions. These are required by the Google Play Billing library and are used only for purchases and for checking whether you already own Pro. The app itself contacts no servers of ours — there are none.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
9. Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. We will never silently weaken your privacy.
